Enchanted Rainforest
Enchanted Rainforest is locally focused and inspired by the Paluma Rainforest in North Queensland. Built around an awe-inspiring recreation of a fig tree, the exhibition's interactive displays teach visitors about the flora and fauna of a rainforest environment. It also includes information about the Indigenous land use of the forest and describes its special meaning to Indigenous peoples.

All aboard! Travel through Brisbane on an historic steam train and relive the splendour of a bygone era. It's BIG LOUD FUN as you board the steam train at Roma Street Station for a one hour trip through the City. Teddy Bears Picnic
If you come down to the Museum this day you're in for a big surprise! Bring along your favourite Teddy Bear and join us for a picnic on the lawn. Children can also hear a special Teddy Bear story from The Workshops Conductor, take part in the Teddy Bears Parade, and hunt for Teddy Bears hidden around the Museum.
Teddy Bear Picnic hampers must be pre-booked, contact us for details.
